Paul Oxley announces a solo, acoustic tour in 2010

(Paul Oxley is the English singer/songwriter with 80's band 'Paul Oxleys Unit'. The band sold over 100,000 albums in Finland and topped the charts for many months. Their hits such as Terry's Inside, Spanish Bars, Another Heartbreak and Living in the Western World are still played often on the radio. Paul launched his solo carrer in 2009 with the release of the album 'Eden Wakes' on Sony/BMG record label. The first single Lazy Dayzzz became an instant radio hit and was followed by an extensive tour with Paul's new band. Paul also works actively as a songwriter and has had several chart hits with other artists. His song 'Cider Hill' performed by Nina Lassander came second in the Finnish finals of the 2010 Eurovision Song contest.

2010 sees the start of Paul's solo acoustic tour, aimed at smaller venues such as restaurants, cafes and theatres, he performs his own original music along with carefully chosen cover songs from favourite artists such as, The Beatles, Bob Dylan, Bert Jansch (Paul is a big acoustic guitar fan), John Mayer, Crowded House and anything that takes his fancy on the night. After 40 years of touring experience, Paul is not short of a story or two to tell and is very much enjoying the freedom of expression he gets from performing solo.)
